If you love kale chips but don’t want to spend $5-10 on a package of pre-made kale chips, make your own! You can use a dehydrator or the oven to make these crispy, crunchy, healthy chips!
🍃Kale is high in fiber, vitamin K, vitamin A, vitamin C, folate, magnesium, & calcium! One of the most nutrient dense foods in the world, kale is one of my favorite superfoods! 🌱
You will need 1-2 bunches of fresh kale. Be sure to thoroughly wash your kale!
Pull apart the large pieces of kale from the stem, and tear them into smaller pieces. (You can toss the stem in the compost!)
Place the kale into a large bowl and toss with one tsp or Tbsp of organic olive or coconut oil, thoroughly saturating all the pieces.
Place the pieces of kale flat onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or onto a dehydrator sheet, make sure you don’t overlap pieces.
Sprinkle with pink himalayan salt and nutritional yeast.
Dehydrate on lowest setting for 3+ hours until kale is crunchy or bake in the oven for 10 minutes at 300°!
Enjoy right away or store in an airtight container!
